Changelog

A running log of the major changes we ship to Plypto — new features, improvements, fixes, and announcements. We keep it public so you can always see how the game evolves.

  1. New feature1.24.031 July 2026

    Backfire Array

The Backfire Array is live — a new planetary infrastructure that can automatically counter-strike anyone who raids you. What's new: - Install and upgrade the Backfire Array from Planet → Backfire Array (starts at level 0 until you arm it). - When it fires, it claws a share of the raider's withdrawable BTC back into your wallet. - Two stats scale with level: retaliation chance and loot per strike. - Radar cards warn attackers with both chance and loot before they commit. - The raider's Planet Shield still gets its normal roll against the counter-strike. - No counter-strike chains: one raid can trigger at most one riposte. The Planet Shield absorbs. The Backfire Array answers.

  2. New feature1.1.023 July 2026

    Seasons & Treasure Hunt

Plypto v1.1 brings competitive seasons and a limited-time Treasure Hunt event to the battlefield. Seasons Timed competitive seasons are live. Win raids and hold your defenses to climb the leaderboard. Scoring is simple: +2 for a raid victory, +1 for a successful defense, −1 when your planet falls undefended. Points never go below zero. When a season closes, proton prizes are paid to the top ranks — podium for the top 3, with rewards extending through the top 13. Follow live standings on the public leaderboard and from the home page. Treasure Hunt While the event is live, every successful raid drops a loot box into your treasure cache. Open chests for a chance at protons or withdrawable BTC. Check the odds table in the cache, watch the event countdown on the battlefield, and crack open what you seize before the hunt ends. Raid hard. Climb the board. Claim the haul.

  3. New feature1.0.021 July 2026

    Infrastructure raised to 200

You asked, we delivered. Since the Leaderboard went live, the surge of new commanders expanding their empires pushed many of you against the deployment cap — so we're doubling it. What's changing: - The per-category build cap goes from 100 to 200 distinct deployments. - This applies to every category independently: Energy, Economic, Offensive, and Defensive. - Nothing else changes: there's still no limit on upgrading existing deployments, and only one construction can be in progress per category at a time. No action needed on your side — the new cap is already live on your planet. Time to build. Keep the raids coming, and thank you for playing.
